Duke’s Style History

Duke Kahanamoku the Ambassador of Aloha, who’s influence was wide spread during his time as Sheriff proclaimed that people should be more comfortable and wear their shirts untucked, thus removing the shirt tail and developing the shirt styling that was to be widely embraced.
Then as a means to promote the spirit of aloha and the Hawaiian Islands, art in printable configurations was adapted to textiles to create the original and symbolic Aloha Shirt.
